Here we have the handsome French model, Manu Noraced (@manunoraced on Instagram), who is peering from beyond what looks like a wall. I have been an admirer of Manu for quite some time now; at least a few years.
With this painting, I experimented with more impasto application of paints in the background and used a bit of gold metallic oil paint for Manu's sweater. In the right light angle, you can see the gold reflections sparkle right back at you.
